I am 20 years old. I graduated from high school with honors. I was in advanced english. I also graduated with honors from Madison-Oneida BOCES. I am currently in college for Business Management, and I am also studying Psychology. When I finish I want to work with teenagers. Everyone goes through a hard time when they are teenagers, and I believe I can help. I have an older brother who was struggling through high school, and I helped him to graduate. My younger sister is now in high school, and I help her anytime she needs it.

My teaching experience began almost as soon as my higher education did, beginning as a Red Cross CPR instructor and then a volunteer tutor while an undergraduate. After earning my bachelor's degree, I worked with trouble youth. A desire to extend my learning led me to seek a Master's degree while working as a public school teacher. I continued with my goal to earn a doctoral degree and extended my teaching experience to the college level.
I am a strong proponent of critical thinking skills. For me, teaching is much more than being a content expert, but also a patient, yet demanding coach. Rote memorization is never enough; a thorough understanding of the underlying concepts and facts is crucial in achieving true mastery of a subject.
