Teaching younger aged children is something that I have wanted to do my whole life. Now that I have taught for the past five years there is nothing more that I want to do. I feel any child can learn. I like to first get an idea of what the student knows about the problem.. I find that the more time I spend listening to what they know it naturally turns into what pieces I need to add-in. Unless they came to the session to learn new material that would be a different scenario entirely in which it would depend on the student how I taught. I would have to find out what type of a learner they are. Whether it be a visual learner, if they need examples or are an entirely conceptual type of learner.
Throughout college I had extensive experience working with classmates while we solved math equations and physics problems together. I did volunteer work teaching English to children in Mexico as well as teaching English to college age students in Mexico.

A Little Bit About Me...

I recently earned my bachelor's degree in Chemistry. I was in advanced math classes and have studied up through Calculus, testing out of an Algebra II class. I excell at spelling, and earned a ribbon in a spelling bee in elementary. I was also in AP and Honors English classes and wrote a paper that impressed my college teacher so much he wished to used it as an example for future classes.
