As a Controller, analyst and consultant of Computerized Accounting systems for small and medium sized businesses, I have 25 years plus, of extensive experience training and teaching both accounting and non-accounting executives how to data entry in 'subsidiary journals' like Accounts Receivable, Payable, Payroll, Fixed Assets and how to reconcile to 'control accounts' in General Ledger. My approach to tutoring would be to explain the mechanics of recording business transactions (two sides to a transactions, thus "double entry") rather than rote learning.This would benefit them to pass exams as well as in business if they chose to pursue a career in business and finance.

When I was a kid I used to ask questions about things. My questions were usually of the natural sciences bent. I was eight. As an adult, knowing I was going to have a daughter, I discovered that I needed to be respected in the world for my knowledge so I could have a career that could support my daughter. I became a great student. After a while I found that it wasn’t just chemistry that I loved. It was TEACHING chemistry that I loved. It was sharing the knowledge and sharing the discovery. I spent fifteen years going to community college and Eastern Washington University. I earned my Associates in chemistry and my BAE in chemistry. I am a recent graduate with straight A’s from Lewis-Clark State College with a major in Biology. I took many classes in math to receive my degree. I tutored students at the University of Montana enrolled in biology and anatomy courses. The students I tutored had significantly better test scores than their previous ones. At LCSC, I assisted one of my professors for her online chemistry courses. I made keys and graded their homework and added notes to help them for future assignments. I was also enrolled in human dissection. A large portion of the course was teaching the human anatomy students certain body parts. The feedback I received from the students was positive and they said that my lectures were easy to understand.
