2015 graduate. I have my associate in arts for both Deaf studies:american sign language and interpreting. I am also a certified working american sign language interpreter for 2 years.I also interact frequently with my local Deaf community, by going to deaf events multiple times every month. I have volunteered for 6 years for various Deaf Events such as Deaf expo,Deaf Mata,Deaf festival,Ren Faire etc.I have a great love for the community,they help me grow each time I interact with them. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my college years I have been employed by two different after school programs for a combined amount of 6 years tutoring/teaching in public school after school programs. (Grades K-6) I also spent 2 months teaching full time 3rd and 4th grade after college prior to unfortunately being laid off due to financial losses in the school. I also tutored English in college through an Advanced English class I was placed in.
I have a passion and calling for working with children. From the time I was a child, I knew this is what I was meant to do. I believe children are the hope of our country, and that every child is capable of learning and expanding their knowledge.
