I am also National Board Certified in area of Middle Childhood Generalist. I am certified 6-9 and 9-12 English. I have taught 4th grade for 2 years, 5th grade for 5 years, 6th grade for 1 year, 7th and 8th grades for 3 years, 9 and 10th grades for 1 year and 11 and 12th grades for 2 years.

Throughout high school and college I helped numerous classmates develop efficient ways of studying as well as providing assistance to learning and understanding the given material. During high school I mainly tutored my neighbor's young children in elementary subjects. In college I helped fellow classmates in my major and minor. The most challenging tutoring experience I had was when my own brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and he was taken out of school for months at a time. I was able to help him learn a full course of high school biology, english, and spanish and he was able to complete the courses with passing grades and be promoted to the next grade level.
