I have tutored students in many subjects, including language arts, math, science, and reading. I have worked with students under NCLB and with FCAT (Florida's Comprehensive Assessment Test program). Some of my past students had learning disabilities, such as Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, or diagnosed as "Slow Learner." Several of these students were being medicated and were repeating at least one grade. I've had a passion for math ever since I was little, which led me to pursue a degree in Actuarial Science. I've taken pretty much every math class that I can think of. From Pre-Algebra to Calculus III, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Differential and Partial Differential Equations, etc. A professor of mine once said that we tend to not like what we can't understand, and there is huge truth behind his quote.
