I am a high schooler with good grades. I help many of my friends, and even their younger siblings with their school work. because im saving up for a car, i figure it would be smart for me to make a business out of it and make money to put towards my car. my current GPA is 3.8. i am currently enrolled in almost all AP classes, and a technical education class, along with a early child care class where we have a real preschoolers where toddlers go to school there. my current transportation is my mother, who is more than willing to go as long as its not too far. i usual do hands on activity because personally that's how i learn best. i am able to adapt to the way the chld learns best tho. Once while subbing, I entered a classroom where the students had been allowed to watch Jerry Springer on TV for the last two weeks. I couldn't let this continue, but I saw how emotional the class was about the show. I encouraged them to write their own talk show and told them we would perform it the next day. I find that connecting student's interest with the subject matter to be learned is the best way to teach. After completing my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Florida State University, I worked as a substitute teacher in Hillsborough County for two years.
