Retired Elementary Teacher- 25 years experience!

I am a recently retired elementary teacher with 25 years experience in the public school setting.I taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th grades. The bulk of my career was spent in 6th grade. I also have several years experience tutoring after school children. In addition, I have completed 9 graduate hours in physical science. I am a very "energetic' and thought provoking teacher!!!!

I am a facilitator of many styles of teaching, I use visual aids, kinesthetics, tactile, musical, etc. when teaching.
Thirty-three hours toward a Master's Degree in Urban Education, Four-year degree in General Studies with the majority of classes in Math and Education. I use computers to help students with reading comprehension and to visually represent concepts to raise achievement levels. Additionally, I will be fully-certified by May of 2013.
