As a former computer instructor, I can't tell you how much I miss teaching. Teaching was the one career in my life where I felt completely fulfilled. I absolutely love children of all ages. I am a strong advocate for using literature to spark students' interests in topics. I believe that in order for children to learn, they need to make their own discoveries. I like to use a lot of hands-on activities for children to learn. I encourage children to work together to find answers. Overall, I love working with children and truly believe I can make a difference in their lives.

I love to work with children of all ages and genders. I have worked with children who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities as well as children of all ages, races, and genders. I attempt to make learning as fun and relevant to the child as possible as every child has varying levels of understanding and concentrations. I am extremely patient and can handle anything. I like to relate learning to childrens' lives (make it about basketball if the boy likes basketball, or about chocolate if the girl likes chocolate).
