I like to take a "Pimsluer" approach to learning languages, meaning it's not how many words you know. Rather it's using what you know and making the most of it. All the while consistently seeking for opportunities to learn ASL by simply conversing with natives. My method of mathematical and scientific instruction is based off the Polya style of teaching where the instructor guides their students by questions and reviewing the known information.
