Guitar is one of my top subjects! I have been playing guitar for roughly 8 years, completely self taught. I will help the student learn the things that they need to using the methods that I picked up as I was learning.

Throughout high school, I had trouble trying to figure out what I wanted to do when I graduated. I took many classes that ranged from Weight Training to Biology. I took many Art classes in which I excelled at. I then took some Computer Technology classes and I loved it. So I figured I would put the two together and took Graphic Design classes. I loved it. I am very competent in using all sorts of Graphic Design programs. I got my first guitar around 8 years ago and just picked it up and learned it. I have been learning ever since. I personally, have taught many people the basics of guitar and gave them the tools to excel in music.

Being a recent graduate of the University of Portland with a degree in International Business and Finance, I have already had the opportunity to use my skills by working in Financial Services in London. During my four years of study at the University of Portland, I spent two semesters in Salzburg, Austria and one semester in Perth, Australia. I have had opportunities to teach in many different settings -ranging from college labs and middle school classrooms to special education and health care settings. In public schools, I have taught all grades 7-12. I have taught high school physics, high school chemistry, high school biology, 7th grade science. I received a minor in chemistry that required me to also take the calculus series in high school. I have also taken some higher levels of math in college such as Differential Equations. I have also taught all levels of band from beginners to high school. I perform in two different groups. I enjoy playing jazz the most. I have a background in psychology that qualifies me to function as a counselor in public schools.
