Learning is a lifelong process!

My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. Currently, I am resigned and staying home, but looking to work part time. I have experience teaching grades 7-12 and working with all types of students. The classes I've taught range from Honors English to a class which targeted students struggling to gain proficiency in English related PSSA skills.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a graduate of Marywood University 2010 with a degree in Mathematics/Secondary Education. For two years I participated in an Academic Excellence program at Marywood. My position was a math tutor at a "drop-in" center. It was here that my peers could come at anytime to be tutored in any mathematics subject. I recently completed a semester of student teaching at Valley View High School, where I taught 9th grade algebra and 10th grade geometry, and at Dunmore Middle School, where I taught 8th grade algebra and pre-algebra. A Little Bit About Me...

I currently possess a bachelor’s degree in biological science from Keystone College as well as my PA Instructional Certification for Secondary Education in Biology, which I obtained from Drexel University. I meet NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements, which means I am highly qualified to teach biology to any student in grades 7-12.
