My teaching style is a combination of different methodologies based on the needs of the person whom I am teaching. No one style will fit all persons but the main methods that I use are discussion (Q&A) and hands-on. I like to use visuals such as pictures, slides, and other presentation methods to make the history and or subject more interactive and mentally stimulating as well as memorable. I believe that the more a student is active in the classroom using their five senses the more that they will process and retain. After watching a documentary on teachers teaching in the inner city, I decided to switch my major from Pre-Law to Elementary Education.
