No one style will fit all persons but the main methods that I use are discussion (Q&A) and hands-on. I like to use visuals such as pictures, slides, and other presentation methods to make the history and or subject more interactive and mentally stimulating as well as memorable. I've always believed that children learn by doing. I would rather have my students get real hands-on experience because concepts can be better attained and understood if children get real experience with it. I also believe that children learn differently from one another and a teacher should be able to accommodate the different learning styles of her or his students.
