I have experience in all of the fields that are listed. Most of the skills I have acquired were either through learning them during my time at school or through doing personal research because they interested me. I have done some tutoring in the computer/i.t field as a side job. Chess has been one of my favorite things to learn. My experience with chess has been a regional tournament where I made it to the last-round of the semi-finals.

In 2010 I received the Outstanding Teaching Assistant award form the biology department. My experiences are in both biology and environmental science.

I come from a family of educators -- a college professor, a principal, an elementary school teacher, and a school counselor and basketball coach. I think all of these members of my family have influenced me in a positive way in regards to teaching. I am a compassionate, patient person and am willing to help when people need it. A Little Bit About Me...

I maintain a high level of patience in dealing with other people. During my studies as an undergraduate and in veterinar school, I have gained extensive knowledge in many subjects. I like working with children of all ages. I believe that children of all ages and cultural backgrounds can learn if given a proper chance. I even managed to teach children in South Korea, when I didn't speak Korean at all and my students had limited English skills. I taught them through games and use of our workbooks and student books.
