From the time I was 16 years old I have worked around children, teaching them and trying to create positive experiences. I chose to go into teaching because of this. I earned my BS in Elementary Education where my education program required me to work three to four hours a week in a classroom learning from an experienced teacher. Upon graduating college my first teaching position was in the sixth grade where I taught the core subjects. After teaching sixth grade for one year I moved to a fifth grade classroom. A Little Bit About Me...

I teach from the core of a person they have the inner agency to choose to succeed and they can succeed if they desire to be great they will be great. Also I believe in teaching through the nine learning intelligences as well as the six thinking hats. Also I teach by blooms taxonomy up to synthesis and evaluation. I am up to date and have read many books and taught in these styles.
I have been a teacher and tutor for a few years. I taught in a high school English and Music. Right after I graduated High school I was asked to help struggling students and teach a bit when the teacher was gone. Also I have worked in Elementary schools I have taught lessons at least once a week. I have been in teaching methods classes and I have take Education psychology. I have also been able to in three months encourage students to improve grades that are at a 50% low to a 90-100% high.

As a Head Start teacher, I plan and implement daily lesson for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Being in the classroom I practice positive choice making and help the children understand what they are doing wrong and how they can best fix their problems. I knew I wanted to be a teacher from the time that I was a Kindergartner. That may seem to be a silly dream for a five-year-old, but I have always loved education. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in April of 2010, and my Idaho Teaching Certificate in September of 2010. I am state certified to teach all subjects for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
