Experience Summary
Majored in Mathematics and Minored in Physics. Receive a BS degree from Cal State Fullerton. I tutored math extensively while going to college. Worked in the aerospace industry as a computer programmer for 10 years. Later on raised a family and helped my Son and Daughter with their Math and Science. I was effective up through the sophomore year of college.
Teaching Style
At first, I assess the student's strengths and weaknesses. Addressing the weaknesses I make sure the student knows the definition of terms and work and spend time working to get this in place. I go over text with the student, and address and clear up misunderstanding. I attempt to get the student to work sample problems and help him/her out only as needed. I try to use interesting examples to sustain interest.
My Hobbies
World affairs, puzzle solving, recreational math books., follow sports, enjoy music of many genres.
