I am a seasoned adjunct instructor and tutor at the introductory level at a Community College. I have taught a graduate level Chemistry course at a Masters granting College. My education includes a M.S. Polymer Chemistry/Science, B.S. in Biology and 46 Credits of Chemistry . More importantly I have worked as a teaching assistant at a School for Autistic children. Through this experience and others I developed a high level of patient and understanding of the different styles of learning and the broad spectrum of speed for which children master concept.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have had extensive and varied work experience in both field and laboratory-based biology: I have worked as both an environmental and zoological researcher, and in the fields of genetics, microbiology and botany. My bachelor's degree in biology has focused primarily on organismal and environmental sciences, but I am well-versed in a suite of other subjects, not only among the life sciences. Copious writing assignments during my college career, along with regular consultation of published scientific literature, has versed me in the understanding of research approaches, along with a knowledge of the standards expected in any scientific endeavor. I love the sciences and I love children; so what better way to express that love than to teach and tutor the sciences. I believe that all children are capable of learning. We as teachers and tutors have to discover the methods and techniques that works best for the individual student.
