All throughout high school I tutored younger kids with homework or specific needs in classes. I'm very flexible and very hands-on with my teaching. As a visual learner, it helps me to have a visual aid whenever I can and I employ that in my teaching. My strategy is to make learning fun for the students. My comments on tutoring Grammar : The English language is fascinating and I love presenting students with a way to approach learning the mechanics behind it that's both interesting and fun. Language is like a jigsaw puzzle, you just have to learn how to match the pieces!

I recently obtained my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, where I graduated in the top of my class with a 4.0. While there, I often tutored people in writing and research, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant for various classes including: Theatre History, Voice for the Actor, and Shakespeare. In addition to my degree in Theatrical Performance, I received a minor in English Literature. Since I've been home, I've been helping some of the younger members of my family with their writing and study skills, and their grades have greatly improved since we've started working together.
