My comments on tutoring GED : Qualified in this subject by WyzAnt. I acted as a volunteer with Career Central, Spring Hill, FL assisting applicants preparing for GED examinations in 2012. I also assisted students in GED preparation with R.S.V.P. in Burlington VT.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. I allow the person to ask questions in a fluid, spontaneous, "let's see as we tackle this together" manner. When something is not understood, I try to give analogies, examples that the person can relate to. I also may explain the subject matter in a more simplified, methodical fashion. A Little Bit About Me...

I was the valedictorian of my graduating high school class and one of the top high school math and science students in the nation, but I was not always a stellar student. For instance, I received a “D” in math in the second grade. I attribute my transformation to an "A" student at least partially to my third grade teacher in whose class my math grades improved dramatically and I jumped from the lowest to the highest reading group.
