A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two bachelor degrees in both Chemistry and German, which enabled me to gain an understanding of math and science from the reading of the original scientific papers in German;a better understanding of English(a Germanic language)also resulted. Working as an analytical chemist for the federal government for over 25 years caused me to improve my writing and English skills as a substitute teacher for over 12 years I feel I have gained enormous experience in working with all types and ages of children. And my certification as an electronic technician enables me to use technology to support teaching with technology.

After graduated with a BS in Agriculture Economics from Alcorn State University in May 2000, I have worked as an Agricultural Statistician for the National Agricultural Statistics Service. While working with NASS, I have taking a creative writing class to improve my writing ability. I have also taking Calculus I, II, and III to build on my math skills. I am on track to receive a master’s in Management at Belhaven University in July of 2010. During the past 10 years I have tutored students in mathematics at the college, high school, and elementary levels.
