I have a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a science concentration and upon finishing my student teaching immediately took a full time job completing the remainder of the school year (March-June 2005) teaching middle school math. In September of 2005 I began teaching middle school science and math as well as elementary school science labs at Santa Barbara Christian School. I taught at SBCS for three years and then worked as a clinician for the Lindamood-Bell Learning Program for the summer of 2008. I am a graduate from the University California Riverside majoring in biology. During the time I attended college I was employed as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for organic chemistry and concurrently I have been tutoring students in organic chemistry. The Supplemental Instruction program was designed to address classes with high fail and withdraw rates in order to improve ailing students and increase the grades of students who want to do better. As a student in Organic Chemistry I have learned that repetition is the best way to know the material.
