I am a very one on one type of person. I want to make sure the child understands on their level of thinking, which might mean using what they use on a daily basis to explain clearer. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught English as a second language to adults and children in Austria and Germany while living there (total 4 years). I speak fluent German and lived in Europe for a total of 13 years. In LA, I taught english to a number of Korean and Japanese young adults. I taught at Inlingua and WIFI Institute in Austria and at a business english school in Hamburg.
We play word games, read out loud, discuss cartoons and ask each other questions/answers. Try to vary up the hour. I am a very patient teacher and try to assess if the student is understanding all that I am teaching. I ask plenty of questions and try to get them to communicate with me and others in the group, if it's a class situation.
