My most recent experience was as apreschool teacher. Despite the fact that the children were all the same age, whatever developmental or cognitive delays a child might have, is not being addressed, therefore making the teaching environment, very stressful. Prior to the preschool classes, I taught as a substitute in the school district where I attended college. To this day, I am involved in my newphews schoolwork, and help him to write book reports and research papers. That is my specialty area. I have scored perfectly in the grammar section of my college writing exam and also have experience editing works for private papers.

I love to teach and see the ideas light up the eyes of the person who suddenly got a concept. I think teaching should be adaptable and should fit the learning style of the student. Visual tasks, memory games, and hands-on-learning are, in my opinion, the best way to help someone truly learn (versus rote memory). I think that with the right guidance and put in the right environment, anyone can learn. I look forward to being that "right guidance."
I attended several schools to achieve my undergraduate degrees, both of which I worked hard to excel at the University level. I taught biology undergraduate laboratories during graduate school. My background is math and science. I have experience preparing exams/quizzes and grading exams, quizzes, and research papers.
