Kary L - West Palm Beach, FL 33401 (30.3 mi) - LSAT Tutor - $40.00/hr.
When I graduated from Bradley University I was looking for ways to keep up with the accounting functions. One way that really helped me was tutoring. When I first graduated, I tutored for Bradley's Freshman students taking Financial Accounting. Currently I do training in auditing and financial procedures at my work. I work for a hotel management company and work with GM's that have no prior accounting experience. When in school I did not like that my major was Accounting. I did not enjoy my classes or teachers, now out of school I enjoy my job and accounting more than I ever thought I would. I like to teach and show students how accounting effects their everyday life. Accounting has so many real life applications that the book can not show you, and I enjoy having students enjoy accounting as much as I do.

After the class had finished, the professor hired me through the university's Philosophy Department as a tutor for the same class. After graduation, I acted as a private tutor in my spare time. At Columbia University I was a Teaching Assistant for three college courses, giving
