In college, I was a Math Tutor in all the requisite courses and calculus. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Math and BS in Mechanical Engineering, which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many various areas of study. I have taught adult students in mathematics, mechanical assembly, and job skills. I like teaching and also tutoring. I am considerate and patient. I developed a heart for young people at an early age, as my parents were missionaries to Native Americans. I truly believe that education has changed my life and promote higher education. I am able to relate to children of all ages and in the past two years especially related to high school and young college students who were looking for their way in life. I have worked in a higher education environment since 2000. I tuaught CPR and First Aid classes for 4 years for Child Care providers from 1996 to 2000. Each student has his or her own unique learning style. A successful tutor is one who can tap into the individual learning styles of his students, no matter how diverse they may be. Only then will a successful communication channel be achieved. I am a true believer in communication, without it success is inhibited.
