I currently serve as Career Outreach Coordinator for HACC-Lebanon Campus. I have tutored many students, particularly in areas such as writing essays. Everybody learns differently at a seperate pace.

First, I examine what is needed to be helped with. Next, I sit down and ask the student what he or she seems to be struggling with and why. From there I build a lesson plan with the student and give them the tools they need to succeed. I have worked with children with ADHD and aspergers.

I was educated at the University of Reading, Berkshire, England. After college I took the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Brighton, East Sussex, England. I was fortunate to teach English to a wide range of students from all over the world, at language schools in Great Britain.
I worked with students who wanted to learn conversational English. I used newspapers, magazines, BBC radio and books on tape to facilitate understanding of the language.
