Literature is one of my top subjects! Lower Elementary Teacher for 15 years. I like to look for the special ways to meet the way a student learns. I believe each child learns differently.

I believe each child has her/his own way in which to learn. It is a process of discovery but my experience and intuition are pretty darn good. I like to combine humor with organization and accountability, on my part, the student's part and as well as the parents'.
I am a previous elementary school teacher, focusing mainly in the lower grades during my 15 years of teaching. Prior to that I was trained and taught Montessori Elementary, Grades 1-3. I believe and was able to teach with a thematic approach in which all subjects were integrated. My comments on tutoring Literature : Again, I have a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My focus is in 19th Century British Literature, however, I am also well versed in 20th Century American Literature, Renaissance Literature, Colonial American Literature, and Contemporary American Literature.
