It is my task to make learning easier for you. I have a total of 10 years active research experience in medical biological and basic biological research. I earned my PhD at the Institute for Pathology in Basel for medical biological research. Then I had postdoctoral appointments at Tulane University and Baylor College of Medicine. Also I taught introductory courses to biology students at the University of Basel, for which I received excellent student feed back.

I believe there is a major difference between teaching the student how to get a good grade and mastering the fundamental concepts that control math and science. When helping a student with Algebra, it is critical to asses their basic skills in mathematical operations. With chemistry, physics and biology it is often a matter of increasing the student’s vocabulary and understanding of the complex terminology and relationships presented by the teacher and the classroom book. My teaching style is to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the student and then build a solid foundation of basic skills.
