After earning my BS in Biological Sciences from UC Santa Barbara, I decided to live abroad in South America as a Peace Corps Volunteer to help others and put what I learned to practical use. I was stationed in Bolivia where I taught natural resource management, ecology, basic science, and nutrition to children as well as adults. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
