My comments on tutoring Piano : I taught myself how to play the piano two years ago, so I know how to teach the piano to other beginners. I know how to teach the basics. And I am very passionate about playing the piano, I also know a lot of music theory.

I am a Sophomore attending Sonoma State to receive my Teaching Credential and Bachelors in Liberal Arts within four years. I have over seven years experience teaching within a classroom, and teaching students one on one. I really love to teach and I not only can teach mostly everything in an elementary school, and some subjects in middle school and high school, but I also have a lot of experience in extracurriculars. I would describe my teaching style in terms of the activity, belaying. Slack is given to the rope at times so that the climber may advance, or traverse, the face of the mountain. When the climber feels tired, or incapable, the rope needs tightening so the climber stays secure. If the climber falls from the face of the mountain the taught rope will prevent injury or possible demise. I tend to give my students slack when I feel they are advancing in terms of curriculum, yet once I notice their tendency to rest, or falter, I tighten my teaching approach by using more straightforward methods so that they are not confused, or do not wear themselves out with struggle.
