Elementary, Middle, High School and College Tutor

I usually start with a diagnostic test to concentrate on weaker areas then come up with a weekly plan focusing on those areas. After a lesson, I usually give worksheets and sometimes online exercises, depending on the subject, and use videos and games if applicable.
I have tutored and mentored students for more than five years in Algebra I & II, Trigonometry, Physics, Chemistry, English and ESL. I have a degree in Psychology and a certificate in TEFL. I believe tutoring is a really helpful and useful addition to class and studying by oneself because it is reviewing class material once again and it is a way for students to be accountable to yet another person who knows the answers to their questions and can help them work to that answer as well.

I am a graduate from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. In addition to requirements for my major, I took mathematics courses as my electives. I have 5 years experience as a Biology, Chemistry, and now, a Physical Science teacher on the high school and middle school levels.
