A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS in Speech Communication and MA in Public Administration, while currently pursuing an MBA. I have a very high comfort level in speaking/illustrating to others. My understanding of concepts range from Interpersonal and Organizational Communication/Rhetoric/ Leadership/ Art History and Psycholgy issues like self-esteem. I am a firm believer of the concept "know your audience", as each child may not learn in the same linear fashion. Children need to learn whether via spoken (lectures, slides,) or written word (powerpoint, research journals, quizzes,). I like to believe that the child does have will to learn and needs to find that niche of comfort in order to do so, whether informal group setting or sound strategic goal setting structure.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my sophomore year as an undergraduate at the University of Florida, I spent my spare time tutoring/mentoring a third grade student at a local Gainesville elementary school. We spent ample time going over reading and math assignments. I also career mentored eighth grade students in the Richland County School District in Columbia, SC. I have learned strong writing and basic mathematical skills at my current position as a media planner.
