I have just completed a Master's Program in the Arts of Teaching at Sacred Heart University. I completed 10 weeks of student teaching where I took on all the responsibilities of a full time 7th grade English teacher. Throughout all of high school and college I worked with children ages 3-15 and taught them how to swim in a Massachusetts accredited program in my hometown. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.
