I am a professional tutor and teacher with many years of experience with children one-on-one, in small groups, and with a whole classroom. As a Reading Specialist, I have advanced training in literacy and am licensed to teach in all related areas from grades K - 12 by the Ohio Department of Education. As an Elementary teacher, I am also trained and experienced at instruction of ALL subjects up to grade 8. I have special education training and experience, so I can offer tailored, individualized lessons for any student based on appropriate goals and needs. I can assess students' reading and vocabulary levels with Informal Reading Inventories and provide a written summary of strengths and challenges and suggestions for improvement. Need work that will fit around my school schedule.

I do not have experience with tutoring, but I have had College English Comp. I and II. My teacher I had was very strict about spelling, grammar, etc. She wrote a grammar book and helped write a couple other books, so she was pretty strict about everything we done. I made an A+ in English Comp. I my first semester of college and made a B+ my second semester of college.
My teaching style will depend on the students learning style.
