I adjust to the learner and speak their language, establish rapport through mutual respect, and try and make it as fun as possible.
While I was a Rotary Exchange Student – South Africa | 1999-2000, I volunteered to tutor students of various ages every subject, except Afrikaans, and was very pleased with their progress, and enjoyed it. I excel in the Arts (Creative, and Graphic), English, Statistics, French, Social Studies, Reading/Writing (especially essay) and would be best for college prep (Highschool ages grades 9-12), as well as Creative Arts for all ages. My comments on tutoring Social Studies : As an expert in teaching/tutoring Social Studies, I am well able to help any student in this subject area.

I have over of 30 years of progressive experience in tutoring young children in the elementary years of education in all subject matter areas. My specialty is literacy and reading, but I am also adept in teaching all of the math curricula as well. I also firmly believe that teaching organizational skills and proper research methodologies are very important for the classroom today--and every child needs these skills in order to excel in the classroom and survive.
