Along with 7 other students, I was directly hired out of college to teach 7th grade English. Along with my 4 years of Latin experience, it increased my abilities in the grammatical aspect of the English language. My background in French was gained through college studies, an intensive French summer immersion program at Middlebury College, traveling overseas, living with a French family and working as an au pair in Normandy. Practiced for years as an attorney for NYS. Semi-retired now. I have also been a tutor with the Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) in Albany, NY. I met with a Korean graduate student at U.
