Experience Summary
Becoming a teacher has been one of my life's passions. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Adolescent Education and Mathematics and am currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum, Instruction, and Mathematics. I have experience in teaching an array of mathematics classes from 7th grade Math up to Calculus and College Algebra. I also have skills in literacy and writing due to the extensive time and effort I have put in for my masters program. In the last eight years, I have helped out in a 4th grade special needs classroom, spent countless hours tutoring math, english, and even some Spanish, and taught middle school, high school, and some college-entry-level mathematics courses.
Teaching Style
I have put a lot of thought and effort into my teaching style. I love teaching and love working with all types of students. I believe in learning through a hands-on approach and through real-world applications. I beleive that all students have the potential to succeed and there is no such thing as a "dumb kid." I do my absolute best on a daily basis to make sure my students succeed.
