I have been in the field of teaching languages for more than ten years now. Arabic is my specialty in both its written and oral forms. I have also taught English for both ESL and mainstream students. I currently teach Arabic at one of NJ's best academies.I am very organized and dedicated. I never had a problem with students or parents. In every tutoring job,I give myself 2-3 classes to determine whether the tutoring will be a success or not. If I feel that a certain tutoring job will not be successful for any reason, I do not continue with the tutoring.I need the money but will never continue a failing tutoring experience just for the money.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from Purchase College with an Undergraduate degree in Music with a minor in English. During School I tutored students in English composition and edited students essays and papers during the entirety of my undergraduate education. I have also taught voice and music theory to students privately. In High-school I scored a 97 percent out of 100 on the English regents exam. I recently received a full scholarship to complete my masters at the University of Maryland.
I will fit my teaching to the client. If a student learns with visuals, I will use visuals. If a student is an aural learner, I will cater to that side. As a teacher you are dealing with various levels of learning as well different personalities. I believe you have to be open to what works for the individual and the classroom. Many young students do not understand why they must learn and why it is important. We as educators must show students how education applies to all life, especially theirs.
