Praxis Exam is one of my top subjects! I prepare students for all three sections of the Praxis core (reading, writing, and math). I also prepare students for the Praxis 5001 (elementary education multiple subjects) and Praxis 5018 (elementary education content knowledge). I also have successfully prepared students for the Praxis math content exams. This includes prepping future teachers for math content 5169. My average student has failed his/her math Praxis exam three times before hiring me. Students benefit greatly from math reviews (including math formulas), drills, strategy, and time management techniques.

I am a tutor and test prep coach. I am KY and TN state certified in middle school math. I prepare students for the ACT and Praxis core and content exams, including the Praxis core (math, reading, and writing), Praxis 5018 (elementary education content knowledge), Praxis 5169 (middle school math), and Praxis 5001 (elementary education multiple subjects). I have been educating students for more than 20 years, teaching and tutoring at two and four year colleges and universities as well as offering test prep courses and one on one coaching. My teaching style varies with student learning styles. Although drill may be appropriate for some skills, my preference is project or problem based methods that draw on the learner's experiences and interests. I work from students' current skill levels, provide challenging problems, model successful learning skills, encourage students' to express creativity and intuition, and employ formative and normative assessments.
