I am from Spain. I have a Master´s degree in History and Art History. I also have a Teaching Certification. Both were earned from University of Castilla la Mancha in Spain, where I have lived my whole life. I came to Wilmington to accompany my wife a few months ago. Spanish is one of my top subjects! I have worked within the local Latino community for fifteen years as a volunteer at Amigos International and am a Cum Laude Graduate from the Spanish program at UNCW.

My teaching style is quite flexible. I am a big fan of using subtitled videos to acclimate the ear to picking out certain words, as well as conversing and following the criteria set out by the instructor.
I have been a local advocate in the Latino community for most of my adult life. I have tutored underclassmen at UNCW, helping with both their written and spoken Spanish, as well as directed private tutoring sessions from my home or a communal area. As a volunteer at Amigos International I accompanied Spanish speakers on visits to the doctor, dentist, as well as traffic and civil court. I graduated Cum Laude, in English literature. I have always done well in English, and have always enjoyed reading and writing.
