My educational career was full of challenges that have given me a broad basis of knowledge for tutoring. In high school, I earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. I subsequently earned a BS in Ceramic Engineering and an MBA in Operations Management. I started tutoring in high school when I managed a literacy program that paired high school students with students at a local elementary school. My style of teaching is non- traditional. I try to find common elements that a student can identify with and enforce these elements into how they can remember the materials they are learning. I use a very basic approach and try to make sure a student comprehends what I am trying to teach them.

I have many college credits towards my BA degree from Southern Connecticut state university and middlesex community college. I have been on the dean's list, and have been teaching for one year as a sub in the wallingford, CT school system. I am an avid writer of short stories and poetry, as well as song lyrics. I am an excellent public speaker and earned an A in this subject in college. I have been told I have a way with words, and have become the "walking dictionary" for family and friends.
