A Little Bit About Me...

I am the first and only person in my family to graduate from college. Growing up, I saw how difficult life can be when one lacks formal education. I was determined to learn as much as I possibly could and landed scholarships to pay my way through undergraduate school. I graduate in three years by taking overloads. I then pursued my MA because I loved being in the classroom so much. As a graduate assistant, I taught news writing for one year, which I loved. I am an avid writer of short stories and poetry, as well as song lyrics. I am an excellent public speaker and earned an A in this subject in college. I have been told I have a way with words, and have become the "walking dictionary" for family and friends.
