My comments on tutoring Algebra I : I took algebra I when i was in the 8th grade and made advanced top 5 of my class 93 average.

I prefer to have a fun learning environment. I think you learn from hearing, seeing, and doing.
I’ve had many years of practice in the tutoring field dealing with the fact that my brother has a learning disability. He likes to have fun and thinks that leaning is boring, so I try to make learning as fun as possible. Then I have my student on student tutoring when the students tutor each other. I think its better that way because most students don't really pay attention to their teachers but they take it better when it comes from another student. Sometimes its better because something you understand they may not understand and when you explain it to them then may be they will understand it a little better. Basically what im saying is that some kids learn better from other kids.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have not tutored publicly before, but have tutored friends children/ family members for standardized tests such as the high school history and english statewide tests. I have tutored 5+ people in college algebra (all earning A's) as well as helped high school students with algebra. I am probably best at writing papers and reading comprehension type tasks. Algebra I is one of my top subjects! Math, Math, makes me laugh, but Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally becasue she dosn't find it funny seeing as how i use her to to solve most of my equations.

In 2009 I was selected by my Engineering Teacher to tutor his afternoon tutoring class because he had another class to teach and could'nt be in two places at the same time. I was chosen because of how proficient i was in mathematics, my ability to go and find it if I did'nt know, my willingness to help others, and because I withheld a GPA of 4.0.
