My easy going nature and fun personality allows me to make learning interesting. I have always believed that the best way for someone to learn is to put the information into terms that are understandable to them. In the past I have used illustrations, acted out scenes from battles, utilized initialisms, and made up songs to help students learn concepts. My style of teaching is one that strives to bring an overall understanding of the importance and relevance of the subject at hand. I believe children, as well as all people, learn much better and have much greater retention when they understand the bigger picture involved and understand why it is important to learn the subject at hand. I believe in relating the topics to something the pupil can understand and therefore grasp.
