I am a recent graduate from CSU Stanislaus. I have obtained my BS in Biological Science with a concentration in Genetics and a Minor in Chemistry, which has given me knowledge and understanding in different areas of math and science. In addition to my BS, I have tutored students in Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus since January 2005.
I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge on a subject with others. I think if you know a subject well and refuse to help someone in need with that knowledge, you are being a bit selfish. If you have knowledge, share it with the world even if the world doesn’t want to listen. I am also a strong believer that you can teach any subject to anyone, you just need to find the right approach. My goal is to find that approach and help the student achieve their greatest potential.

Teaching is my passion, I believe that every student has the ability to do better and every student can be taught. There is no set method to teach as every person absorbs information differently. I like to teach by providing many different methods of instruction and then observing which is the best of my students. In the mathematics and science areas there are a variety of instruction methods. For mathematics, I teach a student how to do a problem, then go over a problem together before finally allowing the student to solve one. An educator needs to adjust their teaching method with every student he/she works with and I believe that this is one skill that I am excellent at.
