More About This Tutor...

I truly and honestly enjoy working with children of all ages to help them achieve their highest potential. I am highly efficient at helping students with homework, understanding lessons, and prepping for examinations. When working with young adults (grades 7-12), I try to do my very best to explain subjects as thorough as possible. I also like to take subjects one step further by using analogies to bring concepts into a form that is easier to understand and more relevant to their lifestyle.

I then took on the responsibility of being a T.A. in both the chemistry lecture class as well as lab. After graduating college, my career led me on a path of training teachers, developing curriculum for schools and teachers, and finally into the position I am now, as a K-5 Technology Instructor. As such, I have an understanding of chemistry, biology, math, technology, and have extensive grammatical and writing skills and have tutored students in all of these areas.
I feel that my style of teaching is student centered. I am a facilitator to the learning process. Any student who chooses to learn can and will, however some students need more motivation than others. Thus, I take the time to hear about and understand what my ... read more
