Some people learn visually, some people learn by practicing, some people don't want to learn. My style varies according to the individual and what he or she likes or dislikes. When working with young children (grades k-6), I try and make learning as fun and relaxing as possible. Young children also need a lot of attention to ensure they remain focused on the task at hand.
