I first discovered my love of teaching when I was in the Boy Scouts teaching younger scouts skills like building a fire or pitching a tent. After graduating from Vanderbilt University I taught 5th grade for 2 years while working on my Master's at TSU. I then moved to the Knoxville area and taught K until my son was born in 2000.
