I have always been an artist and taught myself graphics easily before deciding to get my degree in design. I know what it's like to be learning with little to no help and I can not only help with tricks of the trade, but also in teaching someone the tools that they need to find solutions on their own. I am self taught as well as graduated from college, so I know how to help someone in a hands-on way as well as give them tools in finding the answers that they need to create what they need. I have also been a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Memphis to a first grader who had trouble with math (adding,subtracting, and multiplication). I have also helped fellow peers study for tests and the Reading and English sections of the ACT. I believe a hands on approach to teaching a subject is the best way for a child to succeed. I believe that flashcards as well as games help younger children succeed in mastering a subject. Making a subject fun is key to helping a child tackle a tough subject.
